We travel to Vietnam to find our oud and the people behind it. Those direct relationships are how we buy today: we select every batch ourselves, and upon arrival, each piece is sorted by hand for resin and quality, then weighed and packed for your order.

How to enjoy

Warm a small piece on mica over charcoal, or on an electric burner set low. Gentle heat draws out the resin slowly. A single piece is often enough to perfume a room.

Zawaya is a superb raw material for your own creations. Break off small pieces for a premium homemade bakhoor, or use it in natural perfumery, such as oud tinctures and infusions.
