Jura Oud Chips – Grade A Wild Assam Agarwood, Final Batch
Grade A Assam Jura oud: wild Hindi agarwood from Assam in northeast India, sorted by hand. Deep, earthy and traditional, it's the classic Assam burn at an everyday price.
Warm a piece and the room fills with dry wood and warm resin, then the aged-bark character Assam oud is known for, with a touch of soft spice. Full and lasting.
Final batch: once these are gone, this grade won't be restocked.
Scent notes
Dry wood · Warm resin · Aged bark · Soft spice
From the source
We travel to India to find our oud and the people behind it. Those direct relationships are how we buy today: we select every batch ourselves, and upon arrival, each piece is sorted by hand for resin and quality, then weighed and packed for your order.
How to enjoy
Begin with a small piece on mica over charcoal, or on an electric burner set low. Avoid direct flame; gentle heat draws out the finer aromatic qualities of the wood.
For makers
Jura is a dependable raw material for your own creations. Its earthy, traditional character makes a strong base for homemade bakhoor, and it works well in natural perfumery, such as oud tinctures and infusions.
