Muri Oud Chips – Wild Hindi Agarwood from Nagaland
Super grade Muri oud: wild Hindi agarwood from Nagaland in northeast India, sorted by hand, rich with resin and made for slow, quiet burning.
Place a chip on your burner and the room fills gently: aged timber first, then a deep earthy resin and smoky balsam, finished with warm spice. It's the classic Hindi oud character, smooth and deep, the scent of a welcoming home and an unhurried evening.
Scent notes
Aged timber · Earthy resin · Smoky balsam · Warm spice
From the source
We travel to India to find our oud and the people behind it. Those direct relationships are how we buy today: we select every batch ourselves, and upon arrival, each chip is sorted by hand for resin and quality, then weighed and packed for your order.
How to enjoy
Warm a small chip on mica over charcoal, or on an electric burner set low. Gentle heat draws out the resin slowly. A single chip is often enough to perfume a room.
For makers
Muri is a fine raw material for your own creations. Break or grind small pieces into homemade bakhoor blends, or use it in natural perfumery, such as oud tinctures and infusions.

A few notes
Burn in a ventilated room on a heat-proof burner, never unattended, away from children and pets. Store sealed, away from heat and light; well-kept oud holds its scent for years.
